The Defense sector at Leidos is seeking a Mission Command and Control Logistics Fielder for the Warfighter Readiness program. This position can be locatesxd at one of the following locations: Fort Eisenhower GA, Fort Bragg, N.C., or Fort Hood TX. Responsibilities Mission Command and Control (MC2) Fielders act as the fielding representative for MC2 system and execute logistics fielding as part of the Fielding Team. They are responsible for all phases of Army fielding process to include de-processing, inventory, hand-off and scheduling with Army users for hand-off (transition) of MC2 systems. Duties also include coordinating office space, equipment storage space, equipment movement, and execution of fielding. Constant communication with fielding manager to inform them of issues, status and reporting of fielding effort(s) as required. Extensive and Numerous TDY required as MC2 fielding missions may be lengthy (up to 5 months of continued support in the field). MC2 Logistics Fielder will be required to field network communications equipment to various CONUS and OCONUS locations for extended period of time. Basic Qualifications: Associate Degree + 2 years relevant experience, or 3 years equivalent Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) code in lieu of Degree. Must have an active Secret security clearance. May be required to lift to 60 lbs. for 50 feet. Extensive travel requirements; 90-95% of the year and must be able to travel OCONUS when required. Must possess a supply background. Must possess the ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team. Candidates will be US Citizens with a valid driver's license. Required skills include, but not limited to experience in coordinating, planning, and fielding operations within the Department of Defense and knowledge of military organizational dynamics. Candidates must have proven organization and communication skills. Proficient with MS Office products. Must be able to work in a team environment. Must have working knowledge of the Ruggedized Applications Platform- Tactical Radios (RAP-TR) and MC2 equipment and its functionalities. Ability to operate a forklift if desired.
