About The Position

As an expert in federal continuity of operations or defense mission assurance, your unique background allows you to ask questions and collaborate with others to identify and mitigate risks facing our client's missions. As a member of our team, you will utilize your expertise to provide advisory and implementation support to enhance mission assurance and continuity planning by preparing for, preventing, mitigating, responding to, and recovering from incidents that impact business and infrastructure systems. You'll bring your leadership, technical, and planning expertise to work alongside leaders in the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense (DoD). Your collaboration with subject matter experts across the enterprise will be instrumental in identifying risks and developing innovative solutions to complex problems. You'll contribute to the synchronization of efforts in a matrix organization with multiple functional areas and provide written reports and briefs for executive-level audiences. Your expertise will result in the identification of potential risks and threats, insightful strategies for addressing findings, and development and implementation of plans to address and mitigate mission assurance risk.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience supporting continuity of operations, critical infrastructure protection, or mission assurance activities for the federal government.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and manage multiple tasks with competing timelines.
  • Ability to develop clear and effective written and verbal communication products for senior leaders using Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing strategic plans.
  • Experience supporting defense mission assurance assessments.
  • Knowledge of the DoD Mission Assurance program or Federal Continuity Directives.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time in support of mission assurance activities.
  • Associate Business Continuity Professional, Certified Business Continuity Professional, or FEMA Level II Master Continuity Practitioner Certification.
