Our culture thrives on intellectual curiosity, cognitive diversity, and bringing your whole self to work — and we have an insatiable drive to do what others think is impossible. Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Mission Assurance/Principal Mission Assurance Engineer to provide support to our Roy, Utah Sentinel Team. The selected candidate will support Mission Assurance (MA) functions to ensure mission success. This includes facilitating the closure of nonconforming material through the Material Review Board (MRB) process, processing requests for variances submitted by suppliers, and conducting technical reviews of Sentinel drawings, Statements of Work (SOWs), and requirements documents as required. The engineer will perform or assure quality, risk management, safety, reliability, and maintainability of Sentinel activities, assess Sentinel performance and risks, and determine resources to ensure mission assurance. Additionally, the engineer will assist the Program Quality Managers (PQM) with all Sentinel Mission Assurance and Program Management requirements, develop, implement, and maintain the Sentinel Program Quality Plans and Program metrics, and assign program tasks to the functional area Product Quality Engineers (PQEs). The role also involves leading and facilitating Sentinel program Failure Review Boards (FRBs) to ensure identification of root causes and proper implementation of corrective actions.
