About The Position

BlueHalo, an AV company, is seeking a Missile Defense Systems (MDS) Analyst to support the development of air and missile defense systems. The candidate will be part of a team performing analysis of Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) architecture performance for MDS Ground Tests, Flight Tests (System Pre-Mission Test and System Post-Flight Reconstruction), and Continuous Developmental Integration activities. The candidate will support simulation integration analysis, data analysis, interface analysis, and simulation verification and validation activities. The candidate will assist with the development of material to be presented at engineering reviews that summarizes the analytical work performed. Other activities include establishing requirements for evaluation tools and processes, development of analytical tools, providing analytical support to the test planning process, and coordination of analytical results within the MDS community.

Requirements

• SECRET clearance.
• 2+ years' experience in missile defense system analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science/Engineering, or related technical field.
• Familiarity with MDA Ground Test CONOPS.
• Experience with Python scripting language.
• Ability to clearly express ideas/concepts and perform as part of a team.
• Capable of operating in a multi-tasking environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and technical writing skills.
• Proactive in assuring responsibilities are completed on or ahead of schedule.
• Ability to work within a collaborative environment composed of Government, Prime Contractor, and Supporting Contractor personnel.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Objective Simulation Framework (OSF).
• Knowledge of the HWIL architecture infrastructure truth presentation to the element models (SMHR, signatures, environment).
• Knowledge of the HWIL architecture infrastructure, including truth presentation utilizing Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) adapter, Consistent Truth Implementation (CTI) adapter, and/or Ground Test Integrated System Simulation (GTISS) adapter.
• Familiarity with Linux.
• Knowledge of EO/IR (Electro-Optical/Infra-Red) systems.
• Cloud Software experience.
• Database Software experience.
• Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning experience.
