Missile Defense Systems Analyst/Engineer – Architecture and Assessment
About The Position
PeopleTec is currently seeking a Missile Defense Systems Analyst – Architecture and Assessment to support our Fort Belvoir, VA location. PeopleTec is seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst / Engineer to support next-generation missile defense architecture analysis and system-of-systems assessments. The successful candidate will contribute to the evaluation of architecture concepts, sensor and interceptor performance and command-and-control (C2) options using advanced modeling and simulation tools, including GTRI Benchmark model and/or AFSIM. Duties: Perform architecture trade studies, system performance assessments and capability gap analyses for missile defense systems and future integrated architectures. Utilize Benchmark model to simulate ballistic and hypersonic threat engagements and evaluate system performance across multiple mission threads. Develop and execute analysis scripts and data post-processing routines using MATLAB and other analytical tools. Integrate modeling and simulation results from AFSIM, Benchmark or other environments to inform architecture design decisions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in systems engineering or MBSE (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Proven experience in systems engineering supporting missile defense or other complex defense systems.
- Expertise with GTRI Benchmark OR AFSIM modeling environments.
- Strong understanding of MDA system architectures and experience performing analysis to assess potential performance.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- An active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance is required to perform this work.
- Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical field

- Master’s degree preferred.
