About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer to join our team! In this role you will support the MDA Architecture Validation (CAV) team with technical analysis for the execution of system-level air and missile defense modeling for international studies.

Requirements

  • Active TS clearance or at minimum a Secret clearance with the ability to quickly qualify for a TS.
  • Bachelors in a STEM field.
  • 7+ years experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project.
  • Ability to work independently and/or leads sub-teams, applying engineering rigor to analyze and resolve problems.

Nice To Haves

  • Active TS clearance.
  • Prior MDA experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the MDA Chief Architect (MDA/CE) with technical assessments and engineering analyses, technical and programmatic support for program integration with the MDS and related integration activities, and responses and recommendations for external inquiries.
  • Conduct studies, analyses, and document reviews including quick response taskings, MDA/CE special studies, and joint studies with external partners.
  • Report results and findings including trade study analyses, briefings, reports, and memorandums.
  • Assist with analyzing strategic and regional missions against potential future adversaries, and provide assessments including launch area denied and raid capacity.
  • Assist with developing analysis reports and products including defended area maps, probability of engagement success, raid capacity plots, and depth of fire plots.
