The manager also supports the Minor Shelter Case Manager with discharge information and communicates with the case manager and youth's families. The position aims for program termination within 21 days, focusing on family reunification or referral to other care systems. The role emphasizes physical and emotional safety for both youth and staff, working with a diverse population of homeless youth with varying mental and physical health needs and trauma histories.
