Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to read and understand basic instructions and company policies.
• Effective communication skills with customers and coworkers, both orally and in writing.
• Basic understanding of computers for day-to-day tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds to a height of at least 4 feet.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods throughout the day.
• Must obtain a County Liquor Card and Safe Food Handlers Certificate within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers as they enter the store.
• Operate the store Point of Sale system and manage cash register transactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness and presentation by organizing and restocking items.
• Assist with receiving inventory and logging product counts using technology and basic math skills.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure accurate pricing and expiration dates.
• Learn and apply basic food safety procedures to prevent food-borne illness.
• Prepare, handle, and serve food items while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Execute opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively with coworkers.
• Comply with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
