About The Position

The Re:Generation Ministry Assistant is responsible for supporting the implementation of re:generation at Grace Church – Eden Prairie campus.

Requirements

  • Educational requirements: Post-high school degree preferred.
  • Experience preferred: 2+ years.
  • Knowledge areas: Word, Excel, comfortable with computer-based applications of database, PowerPoint, various platforms through Grace Church, etc.
  • Computer applications: Intermediate
  • Communications: Writing, phone
  • Management/Leadership Experience: Helpful to have had experience in organizing and maintaining several types of projects at once.
  • Strong administrative skills are necessary. Good “people” skills are a must. Must be warm, caring, and responsive to the spoken and unspoken needs of others.
  • Monday evenings is required; participation in re:generation is requested within 2 years.
  • Exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ through the Word and prayer as evidenced by the manifestation of the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
  • Committed to personal and active participation in the fulfillment of the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 18-20).
  • Member of Grace Church, regularly and consistently attending the weekend worship services and participating in the life of the church.
  • Demonstrates skills in relating to and working with people, especially volunteers, church staff, the congregation, and others, within a team environment.
  • Demonstrates a spiritual capacity and heart willingness to view this ministry as unto Christ.
  • Upholds Grace Church’s Mission, Vision, Values, and Priorities, and a lifestyle appropriate to a person in Christian ministry.
  • Agrees to abide by the staff handbook.

Responsibilities

  • Support re:gen leadership team – i.e., weekly meals and training materials.
  • Support re:gen programming – i.e., signage set-up, book sales, group materials, and as needed, ProPresenter slides.
  • Coordinate re:gen volunteers – use CCB to create schedules and assign volunteers for practical service areas (i.e., greeting, book sales, clean-up, etc.)
  • Provide support for re:generation mentor trainings.
  • Oversee re:generation childcare, including scheduling of childcare staff, parent coordination and childcare programming.
  • Support re:gen CCB logistics, in cooperation with the re:gen Ministry Coordinator. This may include matching online forms, creating profiles, assisting with related processes/queues, scheduling emails, etc.
  • Help order/maintain inventory of re:gen books and related In/Out account.
  • Other duties as assigned.
