We are currently recruiting an Minisorter Clerk to join our dynamic Production Operations team in Edgewood. Work Mode: This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time. Sets up the machine and ensures it is operating efficiently while maintaining the highest level of quality. Achieves throughput goals and maintains an efficient production run. Reports to Supervisor

Requirements

  • High School diploma or Experience within a production environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Team-oriented and self-directed
  • Proven listening and written communication skills required.
  • Basic mathematical and organizational skills are desired.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to stand and work throughout the duration of assigned shift
  • Flexibility in work schedule that is based on Production volumes which could require weekends and holidays
  • Promote a professional work environment and adhere to all Broadridge’s policies
  • Requires standing for long periods of time; stooping and kneeling; lifting to waist up to 20 pounds
  • Committed to quality, safety, and communication
  • Maintain a safe and clean workspace

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the operation of machinery a plus but not necessary
  • Computer skills a plus
  • Proficient in English; Spanish communication skills a plus

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for running jobs with the correct templates, maintaining the everyday operation, and scanning in the correct job on the System
  • Operators must have the ability to follow the in-depth work instructions and keep the machine running at the best pace for the job.
  • Set up machines to start a production cycle and effectively monitor production equipment
  • Communicate machine issues to technicians and the Senior Insert Operator
  • Ensures the output received matches the work order.
  • Provides ample time to material handlers and floor leads to bringing additional material or envelopes to the machine.
  • Completes all required documentation that is relevant to the product being run on the machine.
  • Maintains safety procedures during the operation of equipment for self and crew.
  • Performs all other duties assigned by Supervisor/Coordinator
