About The Position

Role Overview: The Part Time Driver (20 hours/week) - NPS (Non-Public School: Vista School) is responsible for door-to-door transportation of Special Education Students.

Requirements

Must be able to meet the insurance underwriting conditions.
Must have an acceptable driving record
Ability to interrupt physical altercations among students and administer CPR/First Aid
May be required to obtain a Class B Driver’s License
High School Diploma
Driving experience transporting students
COVID Vaccination Card (fully vaccinated) required.

Responsibilities

Provide services in and around the Los Angeles County area
Pick up and drop off students
Maintain and update route sheets
Monitor and maintain order among the students on the school van following school policies.
Complete daily van safety check including Check and add fuel, oil, and water as needed.
Submit reports on mechanical defects and other reports as assigned.
