Mini Van Driver (Split Shift) - Irvine CA
About The Position
The primary purpose of this service is to provide door to door transportation service for a Commuter client between 6:00am to 7:00pm on all business days (Monday through Friday). This is an intercampus Commuter Shuttle Service. This role provides transportation to customers from campus to campus and any other location within predefined service area. It is expected of the driver to transport passengers to their requested destination in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner The customers will have an option to request a ride through mobile application or via calling directly to our dispatch center. We take care of everything you need (vehicle, fuel, insurance, training, safety coaching, and more), so you can focus on safe driving!
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- 2+ years passenger transportation experience
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Pleasant and cordial demeanor
- Experience working with on demand passenger transportation
- 21 years or older
Responsibilities
- Transports passengers to various campuses and other locations within the service area.
- Provide safe, reliable and best customer service to the passengers
- Operates Mini Van passenger vehicles to transport passengers
- Assists passengers with their baggage/equipment with vehicle entry and exit
- Records trip activity via provided technology
- Ensures maintenance appointment reminders are adhered to
- Ensures operational readiness of vehicle is maintained: vehicle interior exterior cleanliness, pleasant vehicle odor, amenities provided as appropriate etc.
- Other duties as assigned
