About The Position

The Mini Load Picking position at Fastenal involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment to facilitate the movement of products from the distribution center to company-owned branches. • Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
• Successfully pass a post-offer pre-employment drug screen, background check, and previous employment verification, required by a customer/contract serviced by this location

• Picking orders and packing product efficiently and accurately
• Operating computer programs, RF scanners, and printers to label product
• Using a scale for weighing product
• Verifying inventory being picked matches request
• Verifying package quantities and counts
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of work area
• Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations
• Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives
• Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings
