Mini Golf Attendant
About The Position
The Mini Golf Attendant is responsible for the daily operations and activities at Lakeside Chautauqua Mini Golf. The mini golf attendant may also organize and assist in daily group games for youth programming. Requirements
- A responsible high school student or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of the operation or residents and guests of the property.
- Ability to solve practical problems d deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, climb or balance.
- Specific vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus are required.
- Must be able to lift heavy equipment and material up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Must be able to climb ladders.

Responsibilities
- Monitors the use of mini golf equipment and activities
- Ensures the safety of golfer, staff, and equipment
- Maintains the cleanliness of mini golf facilities and greens
- Manages cash drawer and reconcile daily
- Follows Lakeside Chautauqua daily deposit procedure
- Inventory all equipment
- Follows all Lakeside Chautauqua rules and regulations
- Provides a safe atmosphere for all guests and employees
- Ensures customer relations and satisfaction are of highest priority with all staff
- May be responsible for assisting with the organization of daily recreation games
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Recreation
Benefits
- Employees are eligible for a season pass provided they work a minimum of 24 hours per week during the season; employees receiving Lakeside provided housing are required to work a minimum of 32 hours per week.
- Season passes are for employment use only and must be returned on the employee ’ s last day of employment.
