About The Position
Mined Land Reclamation Specialists are responsible for the regulation of the mining industry under applicable laws, rules, regulations, and State policies, priorities, and procedures. Employees will review mining and reclamation plans and procedures; investigate complaints; review and make determinations regarding related permit applications; perform and implement related financial analyses; conduct enforcement activities; attend public hearings; approve or deny reclamation work; inspect sites; maintain applicable databases and files; and otherwise perform a full range of related front line professional duties.
