About The Position

As a Mine Maintenance Tire Technician, you will be responsible for the effective day to day execution of tire repairs and inspections on heavy duty mobile equipment, identifying tire related issues, and managing daily tire survey. Additionally, you will mentor less experienced tire technicians and teach tire repair best practices.

Requirements

Knowledge of Tire Changing Procedures on Support Equipment.
Basic knowledge on pneumatics.
Basic knowledge of tire and wheel assembly.
Basic knowledge of tire chain assembly and maintenance.
Basic knowledge of jacking and securing equipment based on tire maintenance.
Basic knowledge of nitrogen handling and usage.
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid Arizona Driver's License.
Previous experience performing related work in a safety-sensitive environment, such as the construction, farming, delivery or transportation industries.

Nice To Haves

Experience marshalling light and heavy mobile equipment.
Ability to lead, mentor and teach less experienced lubrication technicians.
Experience in the operation of small shop equipment, aerial lifts, forklifts, etc.
Experience with OEM maintenance manuals.
SAP Experience
