About The Position

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to achieve Caterpillar certification for operating a backhoe, water truck, and haul truck
  • Ability to operate Heavy Equipment
  • Ability to operate water pumps, fusing machine, valves, etc.
  • Ability to work & multi-task in a fast -paced environment
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in extreme outdoor weather conditions – temperatures may exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Can move over uneven terrain
  • Ability to work up to a 12-hour shift (day and night shifts)
  • Maintain a drug and alcohol-free workplace
  • Have reliable personal transportation to the site location (transportation at the site will be in company vehicles)
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License

  • Current MSHA
  • Current Caterpillar certifications

Responsibilities

  • Operate Heavy equipment such as fuel and lube truck, water trucks, haul trucks, backhoe, telehandler, skid steer
  • Responsible for understanding changes to assigned work areas and any potential hazards
  • Work on various small earthwork projects around the site
  • Help maintain and manage the water system on site
  • Help maintain the site facilities and surrounding areas
  • Help with various other projects as needed
