About The Position
Mine Engineer - Location: Gleason, TN. Summary: Works with Mine Manager, Operations Manager and Division Mining and Geology group to develop effective short to mid term mining sequencing to optimize operations and life of mine. Supports divisional mine planning team with long term, life of mine planning. Works under the direction of the Mine Manager to develop mine plans, ensuring the plan is being followed in the mine by monthly surveying using a GPS system. Oversees the monthly reconciliation process for both internal and external material movement, as well as conduct advanced analysis of the movement. Processes capital expenditure request for the mining department.
