Requirements

  • 2 years of maintenance experience required.

  • Capability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body and limbs.
  • Skill in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and determining solutions.
  • Ability to monitor machine indicators to ensure proper operation.
  • Teamwork skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Competence in completing production and downtime reports as required.
  • Strong reasoning and mathematical skills.
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance.
  • Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled.
  • Clean machines and machine parts using various cleaning methods.
  • Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair using hand tools and equipment.
  • Inspect or test damaged machine parts and advise supervisors of repair needs.
  • Install, replace, or change machine parts according to production specifications.
  • Lubricate machines and apply adhesives as per specified procedures.
  • Track and record time and repair parts using work orders and maintenance management systems.
  • Determine if a part is repairable and coordinate with maintenance analysts for repairs.
  • Reassemble machines after maintenance work is completed.
  • Start machines and observe operations to detect problems.
  • Install equipment and wiring to meet specifications.
  • Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines and equipment.
  • Follow blueprints and specifications for wiring and equipment installation.
  • Measure, cut, assemble, and install electrical wiring as necessary.
  • Attach cables and wiring to electrical services and fixtures.
  • Perform basic adjustments and replace defective circuitry and components.
  • Set up and operate welding machines for metal fabrication tasks.
  • Maintain a clean workstation and surrounding areas.
