As a Millwright at Metrie, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility in Ferndale, WA. Your primary responsibilities will include installing, dismantling, maintaining, repairing, reassembling, and relocating machinery and mechanical equipment. This position is vital for supporting our continuous improvement initiatives, which focus on enhancing safety, efficiency, and production quality. You will be part of a dedicated team that values collaboration and strives to meet production goals while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. In this role, you will report directly to the C.I. Specialist/Maintenance Supervisor and will be expected to contribute to the overall success of the Metrie Ferndale Manufacturing team. Your daily tasks will involve monitoring equipment performance, identifying root causes of issues, and implementing preventative maintenance actions to minimize downtime. You will also have the opportunity to fabricate and repair parts using various machine shop instruments, ensuring that production teams can operate without interruption.
