Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Millwright to join our team at our St. Louis, MO location. As a Millwright, you will have overall maintenance responsibility in the elevator.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
• Understand instruction and follow direction
• Ability to solve problems and work as a team
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50lbs unassisted
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, or snow
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule and overtime when required; subject to call in for equipment breakdowns
• Candidates must successfully pass an online mechanical aptitude test in order to be hired

Responsibilities

• Maintain and keep equipment in working order
• Understanding how equipment works and how to diagnose problems
• Greasing and oiling equipment
• Patching and lining spouts
• Maintaining open belt conveyors, bucket elevators and drag conveyors
• The care for and use of power tools
• Cutting, welding, and fabrication as necessary
• Working in confined spaces
• Working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Unloading railcars as needed
• Cleaning as needed
