As a Maintenance Mechanic, you’ll be part of our Manufacturing Site team located in Lakewood, OH. You’ll get to: Install and assemble machinery while following blueprints, schematics, and manuals and test them to make sure they are working correctly Perform welding/machining/fabrication – including fabricating guards, brackets and mounts to hold equipment safely, creating machine parts Ensure machine alignment including precise fitting of bearings, gears and shafts, motors, and couplings Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic and general machinery by running tests, making temporary repairs, fabricating and/or installing new parts Rebuild and/or repair machines or assemblies to original operating conditions. Perform preventive maintenance (including vibration analysis) by identifying and correcting potential issues, removing worn out pieces and lubricating mechanical parts Communicate, discuss and/or review repair problems with Supervision, Engineering, the Tool Room, Production Team Leads or vendors as needed. Use Scaffolding and Aerial lifts Work in in full compliance and following all OSHA guidelines and industry standards for industrial safety You always strive to do a good job…but wouldn’t it be great if you could do your job and do a world of good?
