We are actively recruiting for Millwrights to support our various project sites across the US. Millwrights work on industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. They are responsible for assembling, installing, aligning, maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting, tool calibration, inspecting, dismantling and moving machinery and equipment. Equipment may include mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel, lubrication, cooling and exhaust systems.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required
At minimum 3 years of experience in a related work
Follows written and verbal instructions
Works well at heights and in confined spaces
Collaborates with coworkers and has strong interpersonal skills
Learns quickly and has strong math, problem solving and critical thinking skills
Must be comfortable working in Radiological Work Areas
Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, bending and lifting at least 50 pounds
Must be able to be hold and maintain a Security Clearance at US Nuclear facility
Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening
Due to the nature of work conducted by Aecon, mandated nuclear export controls requirements must be met for employment
