About The Position
About the Role As a Millwright at Landus, you will support the maintenance team in ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and facilities. This entry-level role focuses on performing routine maintenance tasks, assisting with repairs, and learning the fundamentals of facility maintenance. You will develop technical skills and gain experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems under the guidance of more experienced team members. This position will be traveling to multiple locations to assist with maintenance duties. The main hub location is Bradford, Iowa.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- The ability to obtain the appropriate licenses and endorsements applicable to the location which may include USDA weighing & grading license, handlers license, and Class A CDL with required endorsements and maintain current DOT physical.
- Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of MS Office, Outlook and databases.
Responsibilities
- Assist with repairs and maintenance of on-site equipment and assets.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks under supervision.
- Maintain records of maintenance work and document activities as required.
- Follow safety protocols and OSHA regulations while performing maintenance duties.
- Communicate equipment issues to senior technicians and operations personnel.
- Learn and develop technical skills related to facility and equipment maintenance.
- Provide general operational support when requested.
