We are looking for a Journey Level Millwright to join our team in Randle, WA . The position of Maintenance Millwright repairs, maintains, and operates (on occasion) all the equipment within a work center. This includes taking full ownership to complete work on-time and correctly. Work schedule: flexible as needed. Wage range: $32.92-$38.17 per hour plus shift differential. ($68,473 - $79,393 per year possible, before any overtime, shift differential, and production bonuses) . Production Bonuses are possible for every employee each month, based on the plant site's target goals. Also includes a $1500 hiring bonus! Must be proficient in ability to weld, cut, troubleshoot equipment and systems, maintain all working components, operate machinery, understand pneumatic and hydraulic systems, proficient use of all tools relate to the trade and possess good communication skills. The Randle facility has been in operation under Hampton Lumber ownership since 1999. Located in the heart of the Cowlitz Valley, the Randle plant employs over 150 team members, many of which have worked here for decades. We are committed to working together to continuously improve in all areas within the plant-site to ensure a safe and competitive facility. We team up with the community to support local school and sports programs, festivals, food banks, and charities such as our Adopt-A-Family program. The area is home to beautiful national forests with pristine rivers, lakes, and mountains filled with recreation and adventure for all to enjoy!

Requirements

  • Must be a Journey Level Millwright.
  • Must acquire and maintain current Hampton PIT authorization.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
  • Must be proficient in ability to weld, cut, troubleshoot equipment and systems, maintain all working components, operate machinery, understand pneumatic and hydraulic systems, proficient use of all tools relate to the trade and possess good communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Practice safe work habits and comply with all company work and safety standards.
  • Have a thorough working knowledge of mechanical operations used in the industry and be able to maintain, install, repair, and troubleshoot all systems, equipment, and facilities.
  • Have the necessary skills and aptitudes required to operate maintenance tools and related machinery.
  • Able to safely operate all facility equipment to the degree needed for troubleshooting and testing.
  • Assist production personnel to maintain the flow of product.
  • Possess good manual dexterity, g ood hand/eye coordination, and g ood communication skills through writing, speech, and hearing.
  • Capable of walking around ladders, stairs, and uneven surfaces.
  • Must be willing to attend any training necessary to upgrade performance.
  • Must be willing to train any employees as assigned by supervisor.
  • Must be willing to work overtime as necessary.
