About The Position

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill a Millwright with a Shut Down in Toledo Oregon. The person in this position will be responsible for electrical, machinery troubleshooting, and welding. They will need to effectively communicate both orally and in written form, read and interpret blueprints, and have an excellent working knowledge of the machinery in an industrial environment, including associated safety issues involved with Millwright work. The role also requires the ability to perform job planning tasks for scheduled machine shutdowns and general pipefitter, electrical, and troubleshooting of instrumentation job tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in written form.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Must possess basic math skills.
• Excellent working knowledge of the machinery in the box plant and associated safety issues involved with Millwright work.
• Ability to perform job planning tasks for scheduled machine shutdowns.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time, and perform repetitive motion tasks with the upper extremities.
• Ability to work in confined areas and high places.
