About The Position

Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Rockingham, as the Millwright / Mechanic. You will be responsible for performing regular preventative maintenance tasks, identifying any repairs or needs, and communicating effectively with Production Managers, Supervisors, and production team members. You will document repair and preventative maintenance daily work items timely and accurately, work in a teaming environment with other maintenance mechanics, and perform other duties as assigned. Daily completion of work orders is required, along with conducting daily, weekly, and monthly area maintenance, owning a specified area and maintaining it, and making recommendations for improvements. The role involves working in harsh conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.) and complying with the plant's food packaging safety system. You will need to adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, environmental compliance, and follow all PPE and food regulation requirements and standards.

Requirements

• Ability to understand and work efficiently with maintenance parts software.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Ability to read and properly understand part numbers on documents and products.
• Maintain consistent attendance, positive attitude, and initiative.
