About The Position

To schedule and perform preventative and predictive maintenance functions as a journeyman level Millwright under minimal supervision. In this position you will have the opportunity to consistently demonstrate safety as the highest priority and perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.

Requirements

  • Strong time management, organizational and prioritizing skills.
  • Possess knowledge, demonstrate competency in, and obey all applicable company, state, and federal safety policies.
  • Possess the ability and desire to follow all safety rules, policies, standards and constantly demonstrate safe work practices while performing all duties.
  • Expert knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance functions.
  • Expert knowledge of maintenance equipment and tools.
  • Expert troubleshooting skills.
  • Self motivated and results oriented.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of work order systems (MP2 or equivalent) or ability to learn.
  • Team player who develops rapport with others; good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts or day shift as required.
  • Basic computer skills and Microsoft programs.
  • Performs general machining work.
  • Knowledge of pollution control equipment repairs (RTOs/RCOs/ESPs, etc).

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and perform complex preventative and predictive maintenance functions.
  • Schedule and perform complex equipment repairs.
  • Perform general fabrication and machinist work.
  • Troubleshoot problems as necessary.
  • Take elective cross training.
  • Communicate with Lead Millwright, Maintenance Supervisor, Site Supply Department and vendors for parts and supplies.
  • Communicate with operators about maintenance items (handoff meeting, work orders, etc.)
  • Assure adequate spare parts and components exist for repair.
  • Other duties as assigned by Shift Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor, and Plant Superintendent.
  • Responsible for understanding and adhering to all environmental policies and procedures including: spill response, general waste disposal, and hazardous material handling procedures.
