About The Position

Sundt Construction, Inc. is seeking experienced Journeyman Millwrights for a project in Sherwood, Oregon. Requirements

• Minimum of three years' experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry for level I, increasing to six plus years for level Sr.
• In-depth understanding of the millwright trade.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, safety, and quality standards.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in trade mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay-out and perform mechanical equipment setting, installation, alignment, and maintenance work.
• Maintain positive working relationships with all crew members.
• Produce high-quality work safely and productively at all times.
• Provide feedback to ensure availability of materials, tools, equipment, and information for the work.
• Look for opportunities for improvement in tasks and methods, and be willing to learn from others.
• Share knowledge and teach others in the trade.
• Inspect subordinates' work for accuracy and compliance with plans and specifications, and take corrective action as necessary.
• Eliminate waste in processes such as waiting, rework, and material storage.

Benefits

• Pay rate of $46.89 per hour plus cash fringe.
• Per Diem of $260 per week.
