Position Summary Our Millwright I assists in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery and equipment to support efficient operations and minimize downtime. This role works both independently and as part of a team to perform minor electrical and mechanical repairs, diagnose and resolve equipment issues, install and dismantle machinery using blueprints and schematics, and document procedures for new jobs or rebuilds. The position also collaborates with engineering, operations support, and product development teams, maintains tools and a clean work environment, and supports safety, culture, and continuous improvement initiatives. Schedule Sunday - Thursday 7:30 p.m. - 5:00 a.m.

Requirements

  • Valid chauffeur’s license
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • 1+ years of machine repair or industrial maintenance experience
  • Basic knowledge of: Hydraulics, pneumatics, Mechanical systems and components
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
  • Perform basic welding and fabrication (MIG, TIG, ARC)
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Work at heights and in outdoor/industrial environments

Responsibilities

  • Work both independently and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks
  • Perform minor electrical and mechanical repairs and perform diagnosis and bring resolution to issues on production equipment
  • Interact with engineering, operations support and product development to troubleshoot and ensure machinery and equipment are working properly
  • Develop and document procedures on new jobs or rebuilds for filing in permanent record
  • Install machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and etc.
  • Support the development of safety, culture, and best practice initiatives within the department or company
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
  • Dismantle equipment using hand power tools
