About The Position

Liberty Tire Recycling is looking for a Millwright Fabricator/Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technician. As the Millwright Fabricator/Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technician, you would be responsible for preventative maintenance, fabrication, welding, diagnosis, and repairs to the company recycling production equipment and/or other equipment as deem necessary. Your expertise will ensure the efficiency and safety of our operations, contributing to our commitment to high standards and effective recycling processes at our Savage, MN. facility. We are looking for individuals who can work a varying schedule.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Understand and follow all OSHA and site-specific safety programs.
3 – 5 years of experience working with heavy equipment, production and processing equipment.
Ability to work in a busy and changing environment both inside and outside in all seasons.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and periodically lift 80 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Welding certification is preferred.
Prior experience in the tire recycling or manufacturing industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the alignment, adjustment, maintenance and repair of processing equipment, facilities, and heavy equipment.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain tire grinders, compressors, various styles of conveyors and other electro-mechanical systems.
Apply knowledge of machinery and tools, including welding equipment, digital volt meters and other similar industrial equipment.
Maintain perpetual maintenance program for all facility and plant equipment; perform predictive maintenance functions including testing, inspection, and lubrication of moving equipment.
Understand and follow a work order maintenance system.
Support the installation of new equipment including wiring, platforms, shredders, and other process/safety equipment.
