About The Position

We’re currently looking for a Millwork Sales Leader, someone who is passionate about people, products, and performance. This role leads our Millwork Sales Team and is responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving sales growth, coaching team members, and ensuring excellent customer experience across locations.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in sales or customer service, ideally in the millwork industry.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • A high level of product knowledge related to doors, trim, and millwork.
  • Experience coaching or mentoring team members in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
  • Ability to prioritize, delegate, and stay focused in a high-volume sales atmosphere.
  • Proficiency with computers and sales systems (experience with Spruce & SharePoint).
  • A team-first mindset with a passion for developing people and exceeding customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the residential Millwork Sales/Estimating Team.
  • Serve as the go-to expert on all millwork products, including doors, trim, stair parts, and specialty orders.
  • Set and track performance expectations, helping the team hit sales goals, margin targets, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Collaborate with outside sales reps to ensure accurate quoting, efficient order flow, and strong customer follow-through.
  • Drive the development of quotes, orders, and project support—ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and profitability.
  • Handle complex estimates, key customer accounts, and escalated issues.
  • Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to help team members grow in product knowledge and sales skill.
  • Identify process improvements and technology opportunities to streamline workflow and reduce errors.
  • Coordinate showroom materials and help maintain a clean, organized, customer-ready environment.
  • Partner with purchasing and operations teams to ensure proper inventory levels, accurate lead times, and vendor support.
  • Maintain existing and grow new strong vendor relationships and stay up to date on product changes, pricing, and lead times.
