About The Position

Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for a Millwork Sales Lead! This position involves providing sales and marketing support and coordination of programs and promotions for the Millwork business. The role includes monitoring and tracking product sales, gross profit, product mix, promotional events, growth, and call planning. The Millwork Sales Lead will assist in developing and communicating strategic team goals that maximize profit in the sales territory, provide information systems support, and maintain current product information, price lists, and bills of materials in the system. The position also requires serving as a liaison with vendors, sales representatives, and customers to ensure timely and accurate data in systems, assisting the inside sales team with customer sales calls, and providing quotes. Additionally, the role involves maintaining knowledge of competitor products, analyzing new business opportunities, implementing and coordinating merchandising, and updating customers on new and existing products, promotions, and services. The Millwork Sales Lead will provide training to customers, Boise Cascade staff, and vendors, develop promotions, administer co-op, and track training for the millwork sales department. The position is responsible for all multi-family quotes and customer and builder program pricing, managing home center and select window/door accounts, and demonstrating a strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

  • College Degree or equivalent work experience in related job function.

Responsibilities

  • Provide sales and marketing support and coordination of programs and promotions for the Millwork business.
  • Monitor and track product sales, gross profit, product mix, promotional events, growth, and call planning.

  • Develop, administer, and track training for millwork sales department.
  • Responsible for all multi-family quotes and customer and builder program pricing.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
