About The Position

As a Kesel Milling Operator, you’ll be part of our Stanley Black & Decker team located in East Longmeadow MA. You’ll get to: General Responsibilities: Perform a variety of duties to set up and operate a group of automatic milling / CNC milling machines to mill various types of teeth on several sizes and types of carbon steel and bi-metal backing coil material.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Knowledge of charts, specifications, and micrometers
• Ability to use numbers including decimals
• Light physical effort required, equivalent to lifting, pushing, pulling 5 to 25 pounds
• High School diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Exacting set ups to close tolerances
• Check coils to be milled and coil tag for record of previous operation
• Replace cutters after grind
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition
• Report any material defects or discrepancies and equipment malfunctions to Supervisor
• Responsible for quality of work performed
