About The Position

Milling Operator The Milling Operator is a member of our Machining Department responsible for operating a milling machine to mill our forged rolls to customer specifications. Competitive wages starting at $21.50 per hour. Additional Paid Relief Days, $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS (Paid in increments throughout the first year of continued employment), and this position is eligible for the Production Incentive Program.

Requirements

• Strong math skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Basic problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Previous CNC machining experience preferred
• Must be able to work any shift
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous milling experience required
• Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment and/or heavy machinery required
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
• Exposed to seasonal temperature changes
• Manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and vibration

Nice To Haves

• Previous CNC machining experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate mills and controller
• Milling rolls to customer blueprint specification
• Inspect milled dimension(s) to customer blueprint
• Reporting all deviations from customer blueprint specifications
• Perform other department duties, as assigned
