Requirements

At least two years of serving experience in an upscale or fine-dining restaurant.
Must be available to work Fridays and Saturdays.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to anticipate guest needs.
Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and food pairings; ability to confidently describe menu items, vintages, regions, and preparation methods.
Ability to obtain any government-required license or certificate. TIPS certification preferred.
Able to carry trays up to 35 lbs. and stand, walk, and move in a fast-paced environment for extended periods.
Basic math skills for handling payments, calculating checks, and understanding portion standards.
Proficient in English for guest communication, order taking, and completing written documentation.
Manual dexterity for handling service ware, glassware, plates, trays, and other dining room equipment.

TIPS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly, present menus, and guide them through food and beverage selections with expert knowledge and professionalism.
Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them efficiently using the POS system.
Deliver courses in proper order and ensure timely service, maintaining an elevated dining experience throughout each visit.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the food menu, wine list, specialty cocktails, and daily specials, including preparation methods and ingredient details.
Prepare and maintain assigned service stations, including stocking linens, utensils, condiments, and service ware.
Monitor guest satisfaction, respond promptly to requests, and resolve concerns in a courteous and helpful manner.
Handle cash, credit card transactions, and guest checks with accuracy and adherence to established procedures.
Perform general cleaning tasks such as polishing silverware, maintaining service areas, and ensuring overall dining room cleanliness to meet health and sanitation standards.
Follow all State, Federal, and Corporate regulations related to food safety and alcohol service.
Assist with bar service, private dining functions, or other duties as assigned to support restaurant operations.
