About The Position

Admiral Beverage is seeking a Delivery Driver’s Helper to join our team in Rapid City, South Dakota. This position involves loading, unloading, and moving materials and products from delivery trucks. The Delivery Driver’s Helper will ride inside the cab of a delivery truck and assist in loading and unloading materials onto or from trucks, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves using various equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, and electric pallet jacks. The role requires following work orders or oral instructions to ascertain the materials or containers to be moved, ensuring that materials are loaded securely to prevent shifting or damage during transit. The helper will also be responsible for conveying materials between the truck and designated loading and delivery areas, arranging products according to a prearranged plan or ideas approved by management, and counting and recording the number of units moved or handled, including any breakage or spoilage. Other duties may be assigned by supervisors as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials.
• Experience with hand trucks, forklifts, and electric pallet jacks is preferred.
