About The Position

Overview: Suit-Kote Corporation is currently seeki ng a Mill Team Leader. Safety Expectations: All Suit-Kote employees are required to com ply with all safe t y rules and to observe safe wo rk practices and operating procedures at all times. Whenever on Su it-K ote property or job sites, or operating Suit- Kote equipment employees are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that promotes the safety of the employee, co-wo rker s and others. Work with the Mill Supervisor on all aspects of production processes including adjus tin g run ratios for finished product / quality outcome. making soaps. lab testing. Keep a great and positive stimu late s and promotes a teamork environment. Help train new and current employees in all processing procedures/phases. Delegate .1ill/Yard processes and report t im es in the absence of the Mill Record keeping on paper and or compute r of daily inspecti ons . run sheets. Fill out procedure forms for confined space entry , working fonn hot work and LOTO. Light computer uses with some Operate equipment ... Forklift, Man Loader. Skid Steer. Maintenance tasks and mechanical duties (pumps. valves. etc.) activitie s in elevated heights and operating power tools (impacts, eed eater s. drills ets.) Truck loading and unloading Bulk Storage Tank cleaning (Confined Space Permits) Po s ition is considered full time. but seasonal in nature. with anticipated lay-off in the November thru March time-frame. Requirements

• Reliable transportation to and from work site
• Strong work ethic
• Strong math skills
• Physical
• Organization and time management
• Flexibility in hours - overtime and weekend hours may be necessary
• Passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening is required and a background check will be conducted
• Consent to a DMV license evaluation
• Must have or be willing to obtain an OSHA IO Hour Safety Certificate
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Observe and comply with necessary PPE requirements
• Must be able to work in a noisy area with many odors present stretching, stooping, kneeling, crawling and squatting

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read and understand SDS
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)

Responsibilities
