About The Position

The purpose of this position is to mill the rare earth magnet material into a powder that can be pressed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret part prints.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to required safety precautions: Isopropyl Alcohol Flammable Powder Nitrogen/Argon gases Material Handling (lift up to 50lbs.) Crane Safety
• Clean and prepare mills, powder containers and work area to set standards.
• Accurately weigh material as specified for load and transfer material into specified mill.
• Operate machinery Ball mills 2:17 and 1:5 Jet mills Particle size analyzer Crusher system Box crusher Nitrogen boxes and purge lines
• Perform required preventative maintenance.
• Continually monitor mills and milled material for particle size accuracy.
• Meet established production rates and quality standards.
• Verify and accurately record data into ERP computer system, manufacturing routers, logs, databases and control charts.
• Perform in process inspection as required.
