About The Position

Responsible for speed of overall process and quality of finished rubber for testing for area(s) assigned. 1. Will be required to complete training 2. Read and follow standards for knife use 3. Ability to verify set points 4. Ability to read, understand, and maintain quality standards 5. Provide coverage for other Mill Crew Utility while operators are on break 6. Maintain housekeeping around mill floor as outlined in SOPs 7. May be required to change shifts or work overtime. 8. May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• 1 year manufacturing experience preferred
• Must wear steel-toe shoes, safety glasses and earplugs when in manufacturing area.
• Ability to work in a noisy environment and be exposed to low levels of carbon black dust, which maybe dirty.
• Be aware of all safety regulations and the visibility of forklifts on the work floor.
• Standing for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis
• Must wear appropriate PPE for handling of various materials
