The Doe Run Company is seeking a Mill Operator I to learn to safely and effectively assist in mill operations that produce all finished concentrates. This rotating shift position will be located at Fletcher Mill in Centerville, MO. The work location may change as needed to support production and business needs within the Viburnum Trend in Southeast Missouri. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
No experience required, some industrial experience preferred.
Experience operating skid steer loaders, forklifts, and larger loaders preferred.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to read a micrometer and a tape measure.
Ability to safely drive a forklift or other mobile equipment and become certified (forklift).
Environmental safety and health rules and regulations training (MSHA) training.
Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

Perform daily preventative maintenance tasks.
Assist mill operators with mixing mill reagents.
Maintain and clean work area.
Complete all daily end-of-shift housekeeping tasks.
Assist the mill operators II and III in the processing of all finished concentrate products.
Operate wheel loaders to load ore into the process and load concentrate trucks.
Complete tasks in a safe and environmentally compliant manner by following EHS (environmental, health, and safety) policies, procedures, and best practices; support and assist peers in working in a safe, compliant manner; report unsafe acts or conditions, incidents, and deviations; and provide feedback to support continuous improvement in EHS performance.
