About The Position

Assists in various mill operations including housekeeping, maintenance, and repair. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Participates in preventative maintenance by assisting mill maintenance personnel in carrying out maintenance tasks. Works in various capacities when another employee is absent or as necessary (may include receiving, flaking, and loader operation). Participates in daily housekeeping, including cleaning and organizing millwork areas. Complies with applicable safety rules and policies.

Requirements

• Experience operating heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers; ability to compute rate, ration, and percent.
