About The Position
The Mill and Dryer Controls Lead Operator is responsible for overseeing the control room operation and quality management of plant pellet mills and dryer units. This role involves running and monitoring all aspects of the control system, taking moisture samples, conducting root cause analysis, and ensuring that pellets meet quality specifications. Additionally, the operator will take on shift leadership responsibilities, directing the flow of work for team members, maintaining communication with the Plant Manager, and training employees as needed.
