About The Position

The Milk HTST Operator is responsible for performing all team assignments related to the operation of the HTST (High Temperature Short Time) pasteurization process in a dairy environment. This includes starting, running, and shutting down the HTST equipment, monitoring equipment controls, butterfat levels, product temperatures, and making necessary adjustments. The operator will also record daily production activity and regulatory information, perform basic mechanical adjustments, and ensure the cleaning and sanitizing of the HTST, support equipment, and tanks. Interaction with staff, associates, and regulatory personnel is also a key part of the role, along with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Obtain a license and operate a forklift.
• Demonstrate safe working habits.
• Ability to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to learn and perform all positions.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good human relations skills and ability to work well with others.
• Ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
