The Milk HTST Operator is responsible for performing all team assignments related to the operation of the HTST (High Temperature Short Time) pasteurization process in a dairy environment. This includes starting, running, and shutting down the HTST equipment, monitoring equipment controls, butterfat levels, product temperatures, and making necessary adjustments. The operator will also record daily production activity and regulatory information, perform basic mechanical adjustments, and ensure the cleaning and sanitizing of the HTST, support equipment, and tanks. Interaction with staff, associates, and regulatory personnel is also a key part of the role, along with other duties as assigned.
