About The Position

Citi, the leading global bank, is seeking candidates for its Military Officer Leadership Program (MOLP), a transitional leadership development initiative designed to support military veterans as they transition from military service to a career in financial services management. This program is tailored to help participants gain the necessary knowledge and skills to build a dynamic career within Citi. The MOLP combines experiential learning opportunities through prescribed work assignments over a 24-month period, classroom-based learning, and active coaching and mentoring from senior leaders and business partners. Participants will engage in various project and peer support initiatives, ensuring a comprehensive development experience. The program begins with a business orientation and immersion session, allowing participants to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact on the business. Throughout the program, associates will receive training that prepares them for success, including a mentorship program that emphasizes a customized approach to development. This approach integrates classroom learning with online self-paced training modules, enhancing the on-the-job experience. Participants are expected to assess risks when making business decisions, demonstrating a commitment to the firm's reputation and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. They will also be responsible for supervising the activities of others and creating accountability for maintaining high standards of conduct and business practices. Ideal candidates for the MOLP are military veterans with leadership experience, typically achieved through 4-12 years as a Commissioned or Non-Commissioned Officer in any branch of service. Candidates should have a demonstrated record of success, with at least 18 months in a qualifying unit leader equivalent position, overseeing at least 15 subordinates. The program is designed for individuals who have been separated from military service for no more than 0-4 years and who possess strong communication skills, learning agility, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
