This is a pipeline job requisition for our future expansion of "MISO/PSYOP" OR "IO Planner" positions. We staff these positions in CONUS: Omaha, NE / Tampa, FL / Ft. Meade, MD / Colorado Springs, CO / Norfolk, VA / Doral, FL / San Antonio, TX / Tyndall, AFB, FL and OCONUS: Kuwait / Qatar / Germany / Italy. Peraton searches for experienced psychological operations (PSYOP) / Military Information Support Operations (MISO) or IO planners to integrate MISO functions and tasks into all facets of Combatant Command (CCMD) / Unified Command level planning, and to ensure the command group and staff consider PSYOP/MISO in the decision-making process. As our MISO OR IO Planner you will have the opportunity to plan, develop, integrate, and assess PSYOP/MISO into campaign plans, OPLANS, and in crisis to ensure that PSYOP/MISO capabilities are considered in the deliberate and crisis action planning processes. You will provide expert mission analysis, analytic problem solving, and assessment skills, and be creative in using information systems and information related capabilities (IRC); integrate with interagency and intelligence community (IC); develop innovative concepts to counter adversarial use of information in the Information Environment (IE) and consider significant or key cultural aspects that affect operational and tactical planning, security, and risk assessments. You will demonstrate the ability to review, analyze, and operationalize tactical and operational-level IO-related directives in support of mission elements. You will be effective at applying technical skills to tactical, operational, and strategic level planning/execution, identifying and tracking measures of performance through attainment of measures of effectiveness, and providing advice concerning the application of PSYOP/MISO during the development of operational concepts. Utilize your expert level oral, visual, & written communications and briefing techniques to effectively advise, negotiate and persuade various managers, military officials, and senior leaders to gain acceptance of recommended concepts, ideas, guidance, policies and regulations.
