About The Position
Lawelawe Defense Inc is seeking a seasoned Senior PSYOP/MISO Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Doral, FL. As a Native Hawaiian Owned Small Disadvantaged Business (NHO SDB), we specialize in providing a range of services to federal government clients, including program management, digital solutions, human capital and training, and medical staffing. Our mission is to uplift economically disadvantaged Native Hawaiian families and preserve the Native Hawaiian heritage while delivering exceptional service to our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating psychological operations (PSYOP) and Military Information Support Operations (MISO) into high-level strategic planning within Combatant Command and Unified Command environments. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that PSYOP/MISO considerations are embedded in the decision-making process, enhancing the effectiveness of military operations by countering adversarial information tactics. You will work closely with senior leaders, providing them with the necessary insights and recommendations to inform their strategies and operations. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the planning, developing, staffing, coordinating, implementing, evaluating, and integrating IO and MISO in all USSOUTHCOM activities and operations. You will draft MISO programs and plans, maintain standard operating procedures, and support the development of reports for Component MISO oversight. Additionally, you will be involved in crisis action planning, conducting briefings, and providing technical guidance to component MISO and IO elements. Your role will also require you to represent J39 interests at various meetings and conferences, ensuring that the strategic value of PSYOP/MISO is recognized and fully utilized across the organization.
