The Military Information Support Operations (MISO) Planner position at Strategic Resilience Group (SRG) is a senior-level role requiring extensive experience in psychological operations (PSYOP) and MISO. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating MISO functions into all aspects of Combatant Command (CCMD) and Unified Command level planning. This includes ensuring that PSYOP/MISO considerations are embedded in the decision-making processes of command groups and staff. The role demands a high level of expertise in mission analysis, analytic problem solving, and assessment skills, as well as creativity in utilizing information systems and information-related capabilities (IRC). The planner will also need to collaborate with interagency and intelligence community partners to develop innovative strategies that counter adversarial information use in the Information Environment (IE). In addition to operational planning, the MISO Planner will be expected to review, analyze, and operationalize tactical and operational-level information operations (IO) directives to support mission elements. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in applying technical skills across tactical, operational, and strategic levels, tracking performance measures, and advising on the application of PSYOP/MISO during operational concept development. A solid understanding of military deception (MILDEC), operations security (OPSEC), electronic warfare (EW), and cyberspace operations is essential, as is the ability to synchronize activities across various military branches and command structures. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, and be adept at briefing senior leaders and military officials. They must be capable of negotiating and persuading stakeholders to gain acceptance of recommended concepts and policies. This role is critical in ensuring that MISO capabilities are effectively integrated into military operations, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the command's strategic objectives.
