About The Position

Military Health Provider Strategy Expert, Senior The Opportunity: Apply healthcare discipline expertise, management consulting skills, data analysis, health policy assessment, and development in support of the Department of Defense, the Military Health System (MHS), and other health organizations. Identify opportunities for improving service member readiness, enhancing preventive care, and improving processes to improve readiness and the effectiveness and efficiency of healthcare delivery. Propose solutions and plans of action to address these opportunities. Develop briefings to share outcomes, next steps, best practices, and key challenges. Implement and evaluate performance improvement interventions in collaboration with key stakeholders. This position is located in Falls Church, VA.

Requirements

  • Experience working in the MHS and working directly with military health leadership
  • Experience with program evaluation and data analytics
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to be detail-oriented, flexible, proactive, and capable of multitasking
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing client priorities and respond to ad hoc requests
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Art or Science and 10+ years of experience in a clinical or healthcare environment as a licensed healthcare team member, or Master’s degree and 5+ years of experience in a clinical or healthcare environment as a licensed healthcare team member

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years of experience in a clinical role such as MD, RN, RD, PT, or other clinical capacity
  • Ability to communicate with senior military officers and government officials
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication, and analytic skills
  • Master's degree
