The Military Engines Sustainment Quality team is looking for a Supplier Quality Manager who is energetic and motivated to join the Supplier Quality Team to lead our internal team and the supply base in developing and executing system, process and product audits, continual improvements initiatives, development and management of quality data, lead investigations, identify risks and develop mitigation plans, support suppliers and be instrumental in driving RCCA in the supply base.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field required (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
  • 2+ years of quality engineering experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiar with the aftermarket and OEM military maintenance processes.
  • Analytical, problem solving and project management skills
  • RTX CORE Champion certification or willingness to achieve certification within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a staff of quality assurance engineers and analysts performing oversight and audits of product and process activities.
  • Support and drive closure of supplier investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions while preventing future recurrence.
  • Ensure the team develops a high level of customer and supplier focus, business judgment and teamwork.
  • Communicate with various levels of management to identify Military Engines quality risks and mitigation plans.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to increase organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
